February has been a particularly busy month at EPMS, with an influx of new business and the opportunity to establish great working relationships with our clients.One of the key projects this month was the overhaul of a Walker slab handler. The powerful lifting magnet underwent a complete coil rewind, ensuring it would perform optimally. In addition, three new manganese bump plates were fitted, which not only enhance the magnet's durability but also serve as an effective heat shield.Once the refurbishment was complete, the magnet was delivered back to Celsa on schedule, with a new terminal box added to finalize the order. As always, all magnets undergo rigorous testing to ensure they meet the highest standards before leaving our workshop.
