EPMS Limited has successfully completed the refurbishment of a Steinert drum magnet that has been in service for over 30 years.The extensive repair process involved removing and re-insulating all the coils before refitting them onto the magnet core. Additionally, a new shaft was custom-manufactured and installed, ensuring the unit was restored to optimal functionality.This project stands out as one of the most challenging repairs undertaken in recent years due to the drum's significant size and complexity. With the refurbished drum now back in service, its performance and reliability have been enhanced for continued operation.
