EPMS Limited recently supplied a large electro drum magnet, 1200mm wide and 1000mm in diameter, to Morcambe Metals. The owner, James Valey, expressed his satisfaction with the new magnet, stating, “It performed exactly to our quoted specification and is a valued addition to our plant.” This installation was a direct replacement for an old Steinert drum magnet, provided at a significantly reduced cost.EPMS Limited offers a range of magnet separation units, with sizes up to 2.2 meters wide and 1.8 meters in diameter, with the largest models weighing over 12 tonnes.
Dalton Metals Inverkeithing Scotland
EPMS Limited recently assisted Dalton Metals in Inverkeithing, Scotland, with service and upgrades to their newly installed shredder plant. We supplied transformer rectifiers for their drum magnets, along with inspection and testing of various plant components.We look forward to continuing our relationship with Dalton Metals and offering our engineering expertise to support their future needs. EPMS upgrade of Substation in the Manchester Area
During the August Bank Holiday, EPMS Limited completed the removal of a defunct transformer and successfully replaced it with a new 11kV transformer within a tight three-day deadline. Additionally, we replaced the existing 11kV cable and made the necessary terminations to the new transformer.Our Works Director, Adrian Powell, and his skilled team of engineers carried out all work to a high standard. As part of the same installation, we also replaced the LV distribution board with a refurbished unit and updated cabling to ensure optimal performance.
