Steinert Eddy Current Separator Specialist Refurbishment

EPMS Limited has recently completed the refurbishment of a two-meter-long Steinert Eddy Current Separator (ECS) for one of Scotland’s leading recycling companies. The original unit arrived at our works in a badly damaged condition, requiring extensive repair and restoration.The ECS was fully dismantled, and all high-speed bearings, along with the large roller bearings, were replaced to ensure smooth and reliable operation. Additionally, we fitted a new custom-designed glass fibre skin, measuring two meters in length and 400mm in diameter, returning the unit to its original specifications.This project highlights EPMS Limited’s expertise in refurbishing complex equipment, and further strengthens our established relationships with scrap and recycling companies across Scotland.
