Two large drum magnet repairs

EPMS Limited recently completed a significant repair project involving two large drum magnets, each measuring 2800mm in width and 1800mm in diameter. One magnet had its throw-over coil re-wound with new cleats and bearings, while both units underwent thorough overhauls to address debris damage in the windings. The aluminum flanges were reinforced with newly laser-cut segments, and the magnets were reinstalled at one of the UK’s largest shredder sites.
