Magnet Repairs and Rewinds

EPMS Limited specializes in repairing circular magnets ranging from 12-inch pot magnets to 65-inch diameter magnets with up to 25 kW of power. Our repair services include the latest Class H insulation and resin materials to protect windings in harsh environments and enhance coil performance.

Our lightweight, high-performance coils are wound with modern Class H insulated aluminum wire. This results in superior Gauss readings and optimal Ampere/turn ratios. We also replace worn parts such as the center and outer poles and manganese bump plates, ensuring reliable magnet operation.

Every repair comes with new HT assembly bolts, terminal pins, insulators, lid gaskets, cables, and cable glands. Magnets are carefully primed, painted, and dispatched with a nameplate that includes essential specifications such as Job Number, Voltage, Amperage, and repair date.

Magnet Hire

To minimize downtime during repairs, we offer hire magnets ranging from 40 to 55 inches in diameter, with power from 5 to 15 kW. Customers who use our magnet repair services are eligible for discounted hire charges.

EPMS Limited Efficient Magnet Series

The EPMS Limited series features a range of newly manufactured circular magnets, known as the EM range, designed for high performance. We provide magnets from 40 to 65 inches in diameter, with power ratings from 5 kW to 20 kW.

Our electromagnets are built with the best materials, including strong steel bodies, non-magnetic manganese bump plates, and certified lifting chains. The design ensures a low weight-to-high magnetic performance ratio tailored to each size.
